WHAT KIND OF WORK CAN YOU DO FOR ME?
I have a wide range of skills built up over 35 years. Take a look at my Portfolio page for an idea of the sort of work I have recently completed. If your project seems different to my recent work, get in Contact to see if I can help you or perhaps I can steer you to a tradesman using my local network.
HOW CAN I GET SOME IDEA OF COST FOR THE WORK I NEED COMPLETING?
It can be a good idea to send photos or perhaps a video showing me what you require. Most smart phones or tablets etc can easily do this and it really speeds up the early discussions around what is wanted.
WHAT ABOUT THE MATERIALS YOU NEED
I am happy to install / fit the items you have bought or if you would prefer, you can leave it to me to buy the bits and pieces that you will need. (I will make a charge for the travelling time to collect any items you need me to purchase)
WHO WILL BE COMING INTO MY HOME?
Generally only I will be working in your home, I have an extended DBS record (previously called a CRB) which is checked by the police for any criminal records. I will be more happy to show it to you to prove that it is totally clear.
Where I may bring in help for bigger jobs, these will also have successfully passed a DBS check, so you can be confident in the people you invite into your home.
DO YOU OFFER FREE QUOTES?
I have a minimum charge for the first visit, which if I am provided with enough information up front, may be sufficient to get the work completed in one trip.
Free quotes are a bit misleading, very little in life is free, I try to make sure that my costs are totally transparent so you can be confident you understand how the final price is arrived at.
WHAT ABOUT ALL THE TIDYING UP?
I will tidy up at the end of each day and when the work is completed, I will clear your home of all mess/rubbish. I will treat your home with the respect I would expect for my own.
