This year, the proceeds from the Bury St Edmunds beer festival organised by the local branch of CAMRA are to be given to local charities including the fantastic Gatehouse charity. Gatehouse provides support for people living with Dementia and a good back for local people in crisis.
Along with a number of others, I was very pleased to offer my time setting up the beer festival on Wednesday morning. (Ask me how much a keg of real ale weighs! ?)
I will also be help out behind the bar tonight, so come along, support your local charities, drink beer. It gets no better than that! ?
